I feel your pain. I have had to do that 3 times. Twice after reformatting my HD. It hurts, but oh so worth it in the end :)
As for you getting used to the keyboard. it does take a little bit of time learning the commands but if I can do it, I know you can master it no prob.
I really hope you like this game :)
