A Year Older ...
So, the birthday is over and I'm still in one piece, still alive. This is a good thing, right? Went out for dinner last night with family and had a very good time. Really nice food at Shoeless Joe's. Even tasted the Calimari. It's still not my favorite though it was okay. The Broadway Brownie was very good.
I got a really nice suede outfit for my birthday too, from my parents. And a top from Aunt Jean and Jessica that will go really nicely with the suede outfit. And I got a gift certificate for Amazon from my bro - though I notice that they're getting ornery about shipping things to Canada if you don't buy them off Amazon.ca. Remind me to remind my bro - I wonder if he can get me a gift certificate off Amazon.ca instead of .com...
It's a thought, anyway.
I picked up some dvds with the gift certificate, anyway. Something off my wishlist, so yay!
And then this morning, Mom and I took a nasty cutting knife (figuratively speaking) to my walkin closet and in the end 7 big garbage bags of stuff has been taken out to the goodwill box for resale to others who want it. Or actually, I think Mom was bringing it to a women's shelter near where she lives. That works. Only 1 bag of garbage got turfed out, so that's not too bad.
Went out to run errands and then came back, ate lunch. I'm posting here now and next -- school work. Because I need to be ready for class Monday and Tuesday night and I have a bunch of work to do on my group project. So, the goal is to get the reading done today, and the group project tomorrow.
Guess we'll see how it goes.
