Season 6, episodes 1 and 2. "Redemption Part 1" and "Redemption Part 2"...
Tea'c's wife dies and his son Ry'ak comes of age. Sort of. Anubis tries to destroy earth for the second time. And he really gets panned by the SGC critics. It was neat to watch how Jonas Quinn became the new member of SG1, and I also was amused to see Dr. Rodney McKay's second appearance on SG1. Cool. Oh, and the new X302 made its first appearance. Based on backwards engineered Goa'uld technology but completely Human made. The Tok'ra should be happy - the humans are learning. ;)
It's also somewhat odd that the cliffhanger was ep 1 of season 6, rather than ep 22 of season 5. But I guess that happens every so often, just to throw people off. Of course, it could be that the producers and so on thought the show wasn't going to get to season 6...
Hey, you never know. It wouldn't surprise me, what with Daniel's ascension and all. Or maybe they were just being sneaky.
Of course, now that vacation is over, my SG1 watching will be slowed back to normal again.
