Procrastinating

Well, that's episode 15 of Season 2, SG1 watched. "A Matter of Time" in which a black hole tries to suck the Cheyenne mountain complex right through the stargate. SG10 and a special ops colonel are lost. Captain Carter figures out how to save the day.

All is well that ends well. Even if Daniel only gets a cameo role.

I think I was most amused by listening to Sam explain the wormhole to Jack. And when both Jack and Cromwell agreed that Sam was way smarter than they were. It's also neat to watch as the team doesn't always win and save everyone. Makes it a little more poignant.

In other news, I hate economic models. Or maybe I just hate statistics and math. Either way, the article I'm currently reading is painful.

the article I'm currently reading is painful.

I have 64 pages of economics left to read. Of course, I think I've read 3 pages, while emailing back and forth with you.

yeah I like the "does not save the day" all the time thing as well.

statistics and math--hmmm, i like math and at the moment am searching for extra-curricular math projects for my 7 enriched students.

as for the statistics part of it: I'm sure statistics is called statistics because it's a pseudo play on words with sadistic.

That's always been my take on it, yes.

But the concepts are really cool.
