Busy day. Much thanks to my parents,

akesteven for all their help! And to our awesome neighbours for the loan of their wheelbarrow, the compacting tool, and the gift of the extra screenings they had, since they didn't use all of theirs on their own back yard project.

For the record,

arwen77 has become a lot closer to his d20 Modern Character Yorik, as evidenced by

arwen77's tendency today to digdig. :)

So, we are now officially sodden, as we have a mountain of sod in the middle of the backyard. Of course, we also have a nice 162" by 162" square area that has been dug out, covered with weed killing screen, and then covered over with said screenings, about a cubic yard and a quarter's worth, but who is counting. We have 42 tiles in the backyard, with 8 already laid, and another 39 to be delivered on Tuesday.

So, we may be doing more patio tile work this coming Saturday, if

arwen77 doesn't get it done before then. ;)

Still, that was a very good work.

The sad thing? All our hard work caused Cheyenne to lose the mouse she caught. Oops?
