Day 2
Awake 6:15am
Out of the house 7:08am
Arrive at Work 8:18am
Hmm... Is this significantly better?
Anyway, day two on the job ... more reading and learning. Questions start. Mine that is. ;) And of course, yet another meeting. I guess I shall have to get used to those, there seem to be a plethora of them.
Also ... I got all the HR information in to the right department. Which means I will get paid, eventually. This does of course include the receipt for the fingerprinting.
Oh, did I not mention that? Part of the conditions of being hired is all employees get their fingerprints taken and checked out by the RCMP. So now I have an idea what it's like to have black ink all over my fingers and have someone else move said fingers to put prints on a piece of paper. Course, I didn't have to go to a police station to get this done ...
so it's not a complete experience. I think I'll live.
