Back ... though just for a week
May. 14th, 2001 08:22 amOr till Friday actually. If you want me for rp catch me soon. ;)
So, lessee... Friday I was in confused mode. Eventually decision got made, well sort of. Since the second interview never got me a job offer, I still only have one. This becomes fairly simple to deal with, no?
Saturday... SCA event. I was very busy, and there's still cleanup to do, but all that stuff is here at home, so it's not a big deal. It will be done today and tomorrow. I did have fun, though I don't think I stopped moving from 7am until 2am sunday morning. So far as I can tell though, everything ran pretty smoothly.
I am glad it worked pretty well.
Sunday ... up at an early hour and unable to get back to sleep. Then I heard the hiccupping cry of a baby. well, I was already awake, so wandered down to find Anselon, her hubby and baby all awake already. Guess the 5 week old was hungry. Stayed awake from then. Put a strawberry rhubarb pie in the oven and that served as breakfast for us all. Was very yummy. I'll have to go back to that farm store on Hwy 2 and buy more. ;)
Went to my Mom's and had dinner with my parents. Ariel came along and we started to set up Mom's gift - new computer. Well, mostly. We are keeping her hard drive, cd-rom, and floppy drive. The rest is new. ;) Anyway, the upgrade is causing a bit of trouble, since she's still on win95 and it doesn't recognize the IDE controllers. Or something goofy like that, anyway. Ariel will fix. I think we shall see about upgrading her to WIN98, which should solve the problem.
Today ... up early, still tired, rainy weather gives me a headache. But I'm content.
Until I think of all the things I have to do.
yegods. This could keep me busy for weeks.

I'm still shocked by realization that I won't have a single evening to myself this week. Oy. :)
