thunder boomers

Really big ones today. Wow.

Very much rain to wake up everyone and lots of bright lightning and rumbling thunder. Now I'm finishing up some work this morning from home, but I only have a couple of hours before I have to scoot to work.

I just got my recycling out on time - they came early this morning again. Gotta remember that. Put the recycling out Tuesday evening. Those suckers will mix up their route so they get to you early and then they don't have to pick up your recycling. Maybe it's a game for them or something.

Tal is locked out of my room so I can work on the laptop that belongs to work without him chewing it or driving me crazy. Of course, he's howling at the door, but he'll survive. I'll snuggle him once I finish this work.

Okay... so that is one advantage to the basement.

Can't hear the storms. Can't see the storms. Not unless it's so bad it actually manages to hit the tiny targets that are my windows. (And they've got great defense mods, I think.)

was quite the storm out this way too. I had both kids in bed with me at 1:30am as they were woken by the storm and a little scared too.... and now it's rained off and on all day (blah). So I didn't get to sleep till almost 3:30am

Yawn, off to bed I go... really soon..
