Blasted rain

Heather Dale was as usual amazing. We always enjoy her music very much and this was no exception. Though we were disappointed not to hear Crashing Down or Prodigal Son. And still no Hawthorne Tree. But you know, I expect she can't play every song every time. And there were more of the SCA type songs this time so that was way cool.

No Light of the North, but we got White Rose, Stone Soup, and Call The Names.

The new version of Kingsword was really nifty. All drums - 2 doumbek types and one bohran. And the cello. That was neat. I still like the original better though.

Came home, and listened to Light of the North and most of the rest of Call the Names. ;)

Then around 4am, I woke up because my tease of a headache decided to explode into aching pain. As in, I couldn't lay my head down on a pillow because it hurt too much. I tried to get back to sleep but had to give up and go soak myself in a very hot shower for a while. Then some time after 5 I did manage to get back to sleep, enough so that I did not here Wolfcat and Alery when they left.

9am still came too early, but we made it. Myrynvalona and Eustacio were safe at the Buffalo airport when I left them. And they've both promised to post to lj when they get home.

And now I need to find the pain killers, and decide if I need a nap or to do laundry more. But it was a great weekend.

Thanks! I expect there will be Heroestales posts about the adventure. I'm just not going to be the one posting - I didn't take a single note!

It was nice to play without chronicling for a change.
