sinjun... because what else is one to give a 10 day old baby?
So, yesterday, got up, had coffee, gathered stuffs, and headed out. 2 hours later, found the mall and the baby gifts. Ate a nice leisurely lunch. Drove the next half hour to get to Anselon. She wasn't there.
Odd.
Well, it happens. My guess: baby appt for Anton. (Turns out I was right too.)
Anyway, Ariel and I amused ourselves by chatting at the barky dog through the window, and then we played cards. War. Thirty-One. Crazy 8's. Only had a couple hours before Anselon, Anton and K. arrived home. So, I got to meet the 'beastly baby' first hand, and bug Anselon, who's been like my sister since we were 16.
It was a good afternoon/evening. Left around 9. Got home around midnight. There's too much construction on the darn highway. It's annoying. But we survived. Went to bed. Neck and shoulders are killing me. I hate driving. But it gets me where I want to go.
Today, I should be retaping the washroom to paint the pink on the walls, but I'm not quite there yet. Almost. I think I need to find something to eat and then I'll be working on the painting for a couple of hours. This could be fun. Well, it was fun to watch the green trim go up, so I guess the pink will be fun too. Next post, I'll have to remember to let you all know the exact fancy name for the pink. If I actually do get to painting, that is.
