Easy. Whoever adds something onto the grid, should make a bbpost about it. It will a) inform others b) let me know that it's the time to update the map.
The bbpost would say something like this: 'I linked whee [direction] of blah'. E.g. 'I linked Alery's Playroom southeast of Shaded Path'.
