So, for those who are interested - the power was out at my house for a full 24 hours before it came back on. And even now, our telephone service (land line) keeps cutting in and out. It's very obnoxious.

But yes, power is back. So long as I don't get hit by one of those rolling blackouts, life should be fine. ;)

Actually, everything works, but I'm not so sure about our land line at home. If it's still out when I get home, we'll be calling Bell.

ummm, yeah, calling from work would be a better idea. That way they can look into it when people are still working as opposed to tomorrow.

I called Bell this morning. It's an area effect, and not just our house. The earliest to expect the lines back is tomorrow sometime.
