Monday, Monday
Jun. 16th, 2003 12:46 pmUsual Monday morning traffic snarlups, but I made it to work in one piece and mostly on time. Not early though, so guess I won't be making it to the paint store this evening. Oh well, it makes sense to do the blue second coat tonight, when I get home, and then we can trim it tomorrow and Wednesday. Maybe Thursday too. And then at least the blue parts of the house will be back to normal. Leaving us with only the green to do.
Yeah, that sounds like a plan to me.
In other news, I have no headache today, and I'm reasonably happy. It was a good weekend. Productive, even.
(Though I am amused that my bg for Solara promptly got the DM plotting. Go figure.)

Re: Torture and torment, oh my?
Date: 2003-06-17 01:55 pm (UTC)Ramrazor... Why I giggle everytime I see the name
Nonetheless, *grin* I'm sure you're right about both Solara and Iszaak. Which only makes it all the more amusing.

Date: 2003-06-17 01:58 pm (UTC)Funny, I had the same reaction to that name.
And you know - we've passed some limit - the comments are now just showing titles.
Whoo hoo!
And yes, I have a feeling that there will be much amusement with the rest of Circus. *grins*
Re: Torture and torment, oh my?
Date: 2003-06-17 02:00 pm (UTC)Yes. I think you're right, though....
So, what's this? Comment 55 and counting?
Re: Torture and torment, oh my?
Date: 2003-06-17 03:43 pm (UTC)But close enough.

Date: 2003-06-18 06:49 am (UTC)It still works.
I'm for some reason exhausted today. Too much hyperness last night, I guess.
Re: Torture and torment, oh my?
Date: 2003-06-18 06:57 am (UTC)*grin* Still, it was fun.
I just wish I could avoid home for the next few months...

Date: 2003-06-18 07:15 am (UTC)I'll, though, try not to put upon you too often, nonetheless. Courtesy, and all that...
Re: Torture and torment, oh my?
Date: 2003-06-18 07:19 am (UTC)Well, that is a way to ensure you're welcome when you arrive, of course. ;)
Mind you, right now the biggest problem is that the entire first floor of my house is a disaster area until we get the painting finished. But that's only a minor challenge, really.
Re: Torture and torment, oh my?
Date: 2003-06-18 07:28 am (UTC)We just might need to relocate someplace if it's unusable for gaming...
Or roll up our sleves (and pant legs?) and fix it.
Painting
Date: 2003-06-18 07:46 am (UTC)Yeah, that works. I figure actually that if we recoat the trim you lot did yesterday today, and perhaps tomorrow, if necessary, then we could actually finish up that area on Sunday. Just means visiting the paint store on Saturday - which we should be able to do. And then we could put some of the furniture back, which would be an instant help.

Date: 2003-06-20 09:30 am (UTC)We are both talented and creative. And maybe I can coax you all to help paint Sunday? If we're conscious enough that is. ;)
Re: Painting
Date: 2003-06-20 10:23 am (UTC)68, huh? Think we can make 100?
Re: Painting
Date: 2003-06-20 10:47 am (UTC)Look on the bright side - at least we won't have to do any gardening. Though I'm thinking if it's nice weather Sunday (and it's supposed to be!) we should take the garden furniture out, and we could sit outside and play Circus...

Date: 2003-06-20 11:12 am (UTC)I'm thinking it definitely could be fun. Taliesin will howl though. Cause he'll be inside. I wonder if I could get him to stay in a harness, if he got to come outside with us... Hrm, might be worth trying.
And you know, if we were to paint those green walls first, it really shouldn't take long...
Re: Painting
Date: 2003-06-20 11:25 am (UTC)And, come to think of it, the logistics, too.
I do much better with logistics when I can see them, than when I just have to imagine them.
Re: Painting
Date: 2003-06-20 11:27 am (UTC)It'll wait until tonight, to figure out Cluckups, and Saturday we can get paint, and figure out painting stuff. And go see GBS! Yay!
