oops, forgot to post.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I'm not sure.
In any event, let's see. In walking news, I walked 20km this weekend (12 on Saturday and 8 on Sunday) so training for the weekend walk is getting there. That's 1/3 the distance I need to walk by September 6th. Well, on Sept. 6/7. (And yes, this is a shameless plug for any of you who have not yet sponsored me. Please do!)
In games news ... SM - got our own org. Now for much fun and lots of work to continue along. Hopefully we did not irk the staff. I think we need to sit low and not bug them much for ... oh, about 6 months or so. ;) But we are very happy with our own little firefly and more than willing to lure folks along to play with us. But we won't steal from other crews! (That's just mean.) MoL - bits and pieces here and there. Caryn is learning about Aes Sedai and how they're not the same as Dreadlords. Poor woman is in a bit of a bind, thanks to Dovridia and Grace and Hope and ... Yeah, not nice. ;) Everyone else has been sort of doing their thing there, which is not a bad thing. I suppose I should be pushing for a bit more rp, but I can't always wrap my brain around it. On LOTRO, my hunter is now level 16 and my minstrel is level 11. The minstrel hasn't died yet, so there's hope she might make it to 20. At least there's hope for now. We'll see if I get there or not. The shire is much fun, I gotta say. Oh! And I killed cold worms for the first time. That was kinda fun. They're neat to kill. (Course, I am a little concerned about going back to that pass to Angmar to destroy drake eggs... they might be more like dragons.)
Work is ... work. busy. It even intruded on the weekend, and I wasn't on call! This week, I am oncall, so might not be able to get too much other stuff done. Course, my oncall week is usually good for gaming. ;)
In other, other news, alarm went off at my house while I was on the way to work. Oops. It seems to have been a false alarm though, so that's good. Guess I'll find out when I get home.
