The Calm Before the Storm
Mar. 7th, 2008 09:38 amSo far, it's quiet here at work. Except my head is feeling squished and headachy, but I guess that's only to be expected.
Between work and home yesterday I stopped at a grocery store and picked up enough stuff so that after I get home tonight I don't have to go out until Monday, if I don't want to. Hibernation is a good thing, honest. course, if the weather does clear up enough for me to go out on Sunday, I gots some shopping to do.
My sister-in-law's birthday is March 12th.
My parents' anniversary is March 17th.
And there's a couple other things I'm plotting for, a little ahead of the curve. Mwahahaha. Ahem...
So, last night, got home, got on the MU*s and lessee ... Sierra had a charmingly sweet scene with Nevar, who is stuck in medbay with a healing broken neck. (that's what he gets for getting killed by 2011, yup. (Don't ask - unless you're gonna get icly involved. ;)) Istark stirred up trouble (my poor bard got caught in the middle of it), and poor Sami learned more than he really needed to know. Yeesh. There are crazy people icly in the world of MoL. No joking. Oh! And Viv was sparring with Dex. Whee! Almost like old times, what with 4 scenes in one night. Wow.
As you can guess, no LotROL update today.
For dinner, Mom spoiled me by making a stew with venison, sweet potato, pineapple and squash. Oh, my word, that was divine. Slow cooked all day so the meat was yummy delicious tender. Mmmmm! And since I spoiled myself with a toasted almond hot smoothie (courtesy of a roll up the rim tab) ... sheer decadence.
Circus has been cancelled for this weekend, on account of impending 20cm of snow. Rescheduled tentatively for march 30th, weather and musketeers cooperating. This gives me all day saturday to play... while snowed in. I should make a list of the things I want to accomplish...
1. design part 2 of the ic grid for odyssey.
2. get a Solara post up in heroestales
3. Get to level 15 in LotROL.... ;)
4. RP Saturday evening - I promised Istark... And if possible there's some fun needed with Sami.
5. treadmill.
There, that's the list for the weekend. Maybe it's even short enough that I can accomplish it!
