Uhm, oops?
Jan. 20th, 2008 10:28 amThere is definitely something to be said for opening your eyes after a short nap, to find you are staring at the sharp, pointy end of a lance aimed between your eyes.
No really.
Of course, the lance was SCA approved for boffer fighting and the lancer was a girl-child upon a tricycle. But still... Had a good day yesterday, I did. It was good to visit with friendses and to catch up with a few folks, even if I did only get to wave to a few in passing. One by one, I get to catch up. It's good.
In the bad side - allergic reaction this morning (not sure from what, but it's here.) and shoulder is spasming from too much cross stitching without appropriate back rest. Friday's conference call didn't help either, admittedly. But this is becoming annoying. And my throat hurts. Bah humbug.
But with that said, I gotta go grocery shopping and then out to a house warming, even if I don't stay out at the house warming for toooo long, gonna go and visit for a little while.
The wind is howling outside my window, and Apache didn't want to stay out there very long when I let her out this morning. You know, I'm thinking it's cold. Go figure. Which means I don't want to go out there. But ... at the same time I do. Scary, huh?
