Merry Christmas everyone!
Dec. 24th, 2007 09:33 amIt got cold again, and there's some ice out there. There are also snow flurries, and not quite all the snow melted, so that's good. It's sort of a white Christmas I guess.
The Christmas tree was still standing when we got home from yesterday's bridal shower - which is amazing, since Tal was investigating the lights first thing and Ronin seemed to think the branches were great for chewing. We'll see if it lasts through the holidays. Or not.
Mom's dogs are goofy.
My cats are just as goofy.
Poor Terry-cat doesn't quite know what to do with himself. The cats he can deal with but dogs too? Oh dear.
The wedding shower was fun. We played a couple of games, I lost at them all. Well, most of us did. But there were good prizes and way too much food. I think the food that didn't get used is going to be used at parties today though, so that's good.
On the list for today - the gym, the grocery store, a bit of cleaning and setting things up. And then dinner out, along with gift delivering. This will be fun, I'm sure of it. It always is.
So, to everyone out there, I hope that Christmas is bringing at least a little cheer into your lives. I hope you have sufficient necessities and maybe a little bit more. I hope you find a few moments to reflect quietly and get to spend time with at least one good friend/family member.
Merry Christmas.
