Cross country skiing is still fun. Hardwood Hills rocks. Went by myself, and did the Meadows trail. It's the easiest one and I think it's been 4 years since I was on skis, so that's the one I took. 7.5km and my legs are feeling it. Course, my shoulder/neck/back is so not pleased with me. I don't care. I needed that!

And after skiing, over to Anselon's place. Briefly before we hightailed it to Ste. Marie Among the Hurons for First Light. I can just imagine the look on some poor guy at Canadian Tire's face when someone walks in and says, "I'd like to order 1000 candle lanters, 1000 big jars, and 2000 candles." But the effect is really quite stunning. Was very good. Oh, they had a great pea soup and delicious hot apple cider. 

On the way home, ran into the snow as promised. Made the trip a lot longer than it needed to be. But I'm home now, alll safe, and there's a bathtub with hot water and epsom salts calling my name... 

Of course, I still think I have lanterns in my eyes.
