There is something not right about being at work before the lights are on. Really. Now if only I knew where they are, so I can turn them on, that would be something.

Yesterday evening was FFXI, as promised. PhoenixFire is no longer sobbing all night, and is still cute. He has brought me a beast coin, an ear of millioncorn and a clump of gausebit grass over the past few days. I think he likes me. ;) Whether or not he'll end up a strong fast runner, eh, guess we'll see. And ... got to go to Qufim Island with a party of 6 between level 19 and 22. I have to say that place is much better with a full party. Or even 4. Or 2 with a level 75 white mage there to power level you. Yup. Makes a huge difference. ;) Still wanna be able to kill the dancing weapons and the banshees though. Hrmph. And there is something wrong about a darn crab being incredibly tough to kill. It was though - party wipe. *LOL* I wonder if Spook even remembered to check. I didn't - but he attacked it first. ;) (And he's got wayyyy more experience than I do at this game.) Anyway, I got to level 22 WAR! Go me! And I accidentally started the Chains of Promathia storyline by going to the place where it starts and triggering the beginning cutscene. Oh well, the party was pretty good natured about waiting for me to get through it. I'm told I need to be level 30 to do chapter 1 of that, so other than that first cutscene, the rest is going to have to wait.

Today's word of the day is: absquatulate - to run away or absond. Eh, it sounds neat.

Walking tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Gonna hurt by Monday, I can tell. :)

Fundraising Update: $234 to go.

Alrighty then. Time to go see if I can find some lights around this place. More later - maybe.
