A moment's respite
Jul. 9th, 2007 04:38 pmWork is kicking my tail it seems and the joy isn't finished yet. However, I have a couple moments free so I thought I would try for a bit more of an update.
Walking is continuing to take a significant part of my time, so much so that going to the gym is suffering, especially with the extra fun that is work adding to the mayhem.
Fledgling continues to make me want to read more. (I know, I know, you don't all agree with me, but that's okay. ;))
RP - seems to me that I'm having troubles finding rp. *pout* But well, at least I have found other things to occupy my time.
FFXI - completed a couple more quests - Yay! Got a new weaponskill with the great axe too. Went off and saw new areas of the game (that my poor little level 14 warrior so should not have gone anywhere near yet!), got talked down to by more NPCs, and well, yeah, like that. Also got dead a couple of times. Go figure. ;) I can safely say that this game has some pretty darn cool graphics. ;)
I've bought a gift for my brother and his fiancee for the wedding shower at the end of the month. That's one less thing to worry about. And I'm looking forward to visiting - it's gonna be good.
Vacation this week - it's kind of late to delay it, and I really am needing a vacation. Not sure what will happen there. I guess we'll see. For those I haven't told - I'm taking Thursday and Friday off work. Right now, I think a year wouldn't be enough time, but maybe a good couple days will do the trick. I guess we'll see.
