Back To Work

But it was a wonderful weekend. ;)

Let's see. Watched Season 9, Episode 2 "Avalon Part 2" ... and got left at another cliffhanger, though not so nasty as the previous one. "Hallowed be the Ori .... " Uh huh. Can already guess I'm not going to like these folks and I haven't even met them yet. ;) Still watching out for SG1 spoilers - folks have been wonderful about not giving them to me so far. Keep up the good work.

Played a bit of Puzzle Pirates. Oy - I'm not very good at those puzzles. But it's fun.

Played a bit of FFXI too. Managed (with lots of help) to get to level 5 with my poor warrior lady. Still not sure just what I'm doing but maybe I'll get it figured out. I did manage to accidentally disconnect myself without logging off - so I lost the 2 really useful macros that I had help creating. Darn it. Well, perhaps the same helper will help me recreate them one of these days. ;) That particular game holds promise, I think. Though I'm gonna have to play it a lot more to get the hang of the controls and such. It's just way more complex than things like puzzle pirates. And I think that one is bad enough. ;)

Walked a goodly distance as you can see from the previous post.  Still more to go - about 15 weeks until our Weekend Walk to End Breast Cancer. Donations are still more than welcome!

And I did make it to Crown Tourney and had a good time there. It was nice to catch up with even more friends I hadn't seen in years. Bonus! But this time, I don't get to laugh for the next year. Perhaps next time!  I'm planning now to go to Pikeman's Pleasure but not sure about  what comes up after that. (maybe a day trip to Murder Melee if the time can be found.)

And in other news - hey come on, it was a very busy weekend - it was the mailing of the invitations, obviously. Got invitations to my brother's wedding, my grandmother's 90th birthday, my graduation. Nice. Course, now I have to reply back to all of these things....

Graduating is Expensive....

So ...
$52 for robe rental
$85 for a frame for my degree

I've RSVP'ed to that ceremony thing now, so that's one taken care of.

I still need to RSVP to the wedding shower for June 10, bro's wedding, granny's 90th... and whatever else comes up.

And I suppose I should find a dress to wear June 15. Oy!
