This and That
Apr. 27th, 2007 09:37 amSo, for those curious or who care, Fledgling is funded through Chapter 36 which means we are guaranteed (by the authors) to get the whole story! However, if you haven't gone to donate yet, you can still get your very own hard copy for $25. ;)
In other news, I have discovered that I seem to do a-okay on bilging when I first start, but I fade thereafter... must work on the endurance. :) Yes, this is a puzzle pirates comment - cope. :) I still suck at all the rest of the puzzles that I've tried. Though I do like the shipwrightery one.
In cross stitch news - still working on the medium peach. I think the white and medium brown cross stitching are done (which I believe I've said already.) No new news on that front.
Busy weekend coming up - work today, gym, out for the night. Tomorrow morning - Yardsale and then blue jays game in the afternoon. Then home to rest. ;) Sunday, we're walking 6km.
Other than that - oh ... I meant to say that I've discovered a new danger on the roads. Canadian Geese. Yes, I'm serious. Last week at work, one of my coworkers had a goose fly into his windshield as he turned into our parking lot... Broke the windshield, spewed glass all over him, and the goose took off again, leaving him without Christmas Dinner. Thankfully, he's okay and now so is his car. Stupid goose.
Of course, this morning on my way in, a goose took off across the street one car in front of me, which was for a moment somewhat worriesome. Even after I was gone, the silly thing was flying about 2 feet off the ground, weaving drunkenly down the street. I don't think it cared much that it didn't have the required license for driving.
