I thought all this exercise was supposed to give me more energy - so why am I so darn tired all the time? Well, that might just have to do with not getting enough sleep, I suppose.
But ... I think I'm ready for tonight's class. This is good, since there is a participation mark included. ;) And I am mostly ready for Thursday's class, though I will have some work to do tomorrow after the gym and before bed. *sigh* One small step at a time. I feel like the little engine that could, these days. While the end is in sight, it's a tough up-hill slog.
Last night, the cats were missing the dogs. Mom and Dad headed home during the day while I was at work, and of course they brought their doggies with them. After I got home, I was beset with cats yowling all over the place. I'm sure they were trying to figure out just where those big galoots went. Cause they were getting along quite well, all things considered. It was funny to watch the look on Taurus' face when he accidentally kicked the cat bed Apache was sleeping in and she turned on him, hissing and swatting. You could just see the puppy freeze, holding his snout still in hopes that she would decide he wasn't really trying to attack her and his tender nose wouldn't get clawed.
And then there was the mirror images. Like when Taurus was outside, standing on his two hind paws, with his front paws pummelling the glass sliding door because he wanted to get in. And Ronin was on the inside, looking out and mimicking Taurus.
And despite the fact that they all hate each other, I could still come downstairs and catch Taurus on the couch, sleeping next to Apache's cat bed with Apache in it, no less, and Cheyenne on the other side.
Yup, they hate each other alright.
Some very funny moments, all in all. Now the house feels empty once more, but Mom and Dad will be back at Easter.
