Completed a bit more work on my Odyssey history. It's progressing slowly, but surely. Some of you might notice you've got nice little invitations to join odysseymux, the LJ community. Do feel free to join up, watch, comment, post. And for those of you who are curious, or that bored, drop me a note if you'd like an invitation to that particular community. I'm going to post my history files there as I get them done. This gives another location where players can access them, and it gives a chance for folks to comment, without having to log onto the game or read my mind.

And I completed 2 jobs on Odyssey this morning too.

Yes, this is procrastination, I admit it. ;)

It's cold out - so much so that even Cheyenne doesn't want to go out there. Which says a lot, I must admit. The Great Grey Death doesn't often stay in, when given the opportunity to go out and hunt rodents everywhere. And it is trying to snow. Which means at some point I will no doubt have to go shovel. I'm dreading that already, due to yesterday's visit to the gym.

You see, yesterday I had a half hour session with a personal trainer. Not that she walked me through any exercises, oh no, but she did change my weights for the circuit training I'm doing. And she suggested I do 2 sets of 8 reps for now. Okay, I did. And I succeeded, though I really didn't think I was going to be able to, when she first told me the weights she wanted me to use. But ... I did it. Which I suppose is a good thing. I am a little stiff and sore today, but not too bad for the most part. I also think that if I hadn't already been to the gym 11 times (since December 10, so not too bad) that the weights she asked me to use would have killed me. So, it's a building process. Anyway, she did of course try to talk me into buying more sessions with the personal trainers (the first one was free), but I haven't quite made up my mind on that one. It's about $200 for 6 half hour sessions and I'd have a year to use them. The good thing about that is that I could get different work outs from them, so I wouldn't always have to do the same thing. So, then I'd have the weight circuit, but I could also have a core workout, an upper body workout, a lower body workout, and I could switch between them, depending on how much time I have and what I'm in the mood for. It's not a bad idea, really. Except I think for the moment I'm okay with just the weight circuit. It's not boring me yet and I don't have the cash for the PT sessions. But ... there is an aerobics class Saturday mornings I might see about adding to my routine. Just for something a little different. :)
