Feel it, hot hot hot
Jul. 14th, 2006 10:16 amStill no kitty pictures. They were promised for last night or tonight. So, maybe tomorrow, I'll have some.
Fun on SGA last night. Sierra actually surprised Nevar. Which is always good. (If those two ever team up ... and she learns to fight ... they could be a really scary assassination team. :)) Anyway, I don't expect she ever will learn to fight, not really. But she might learn to swing a stick without closing her eyes. I think that would be a big win for her.
So, we're in a heat wave apparently until this coming Wednesday. According to today's view. Interesting. Highs of around 32 all weekend with humidex to 40. And apparently to hit mid-40's Monday and Tuesday or so. Sizzling.
I'm trying to figure out if the treadmill will still work with all that moisture in the air. I don't think my poor lungs will... but we'll see. I did not get on the treadmill yesterday, I admit. Sometimes, I think it's a good idea to take a day off. Yesterday was one of those days.
School work to do tonight, meeting for school tomorrow morning at 9am. I'm hoping that after that meeting I'm done with the school work until Monday. (Countdown for this project is now at 12 days, counting today.)
Day 4 of the Odyssey countup.
Oh, and I want to do some gardening this weekend. My front bushes are trying to take over... and they need to be brought back into line. The forsythia needs to stop starving the snowball, among other things. I should get some time to do that on Saturday. And to water.
In other news, I am pondering going to a movie Saturday night. Maybe I'll scoot over to the pickering town center and see what's there. There are 3 I want to see, so it shouldn't be difficult, all things considered. Guess I'll see how I feel tomorrow.
