Stuff

SG1, Season 7, Ep 16 "Death Knell" - the alliance between the Tok'ra, the Tau'ri and the Jaffa is having difficulties. And Carter ends up having to run and hide from one of Anubis' supersoldiers while she has no weapon. Neat episode.

Ep. 17 "Heroes (Part 1)" ... Okay, so Kinsey is still a jerk. The documentary crew filming stuff is amusing. And of course there must be an offworld emergency while the crew is there... and it ends with a cliffhanger. Joy. (Worse yet, it ends with a cliffhanger and I'm not convinced I want to watch part 2 - I've heard rumours it's hard to watch and sad.)

However, I'm now down to 44 episodes to go to catch up. And I still haven't seen any dogfights over Antarctica. Hrmph.

I have made it through 12 of the 27 steps in putting my new desk together. Of course, that took me hours and hours yesterday. And all I have to show for it is a bunch of wooden pieces with doohickeys stuck in them and 2 drawers. Oh, and no floor, because it's covered in all these things. Go figure. Maybe I can get more of this thing put together today and actually recover my floor space.

It's a thought.

More stuff?

So, went out to Montana's for dinner tonight. And then filled the craving for a peanut buster parfait. Yum. Okay, don't need to do that again for a while.

Right now, I'm in the odd position of having fireworks going off to the south of me and lightning to the north. Hopefully nobody gets hit or anything.
