30C at 8pm last night
May. 30th, 2006 03:04 pmAnd tonight doesn't look to be any better. I might have to break down and turn on the central AC.
(Though I don't really want to, if I can help it. But there wasn't much of a breeze blowing yesterday. Apparently, we owe this heat and humidity to an air mass that's coming from Louisiana. Hrmph. Gee, thanks, guys!)
In other news, I want to win millions in a lottery and retire to play for the rest of my life. I'm just not sure how.
I actually remembered to water the lawn yesterday. Usually, it's not high on my list of things to do, because it makes the grass grow. But if someone else is mowing, I guess they should have lawn to mow, right? So, yeah - watering is good. At least every once in a while. Of course, the nozzle on the back yard hose seems to have decided to break. Just my luck. Maybe the sprinkler still works. That would be a better solution anyway.
School stuff - can I shoot it now?
