Stuff and Such
May. 14th, 2006 11:40 amSo, let's see. Dishes are done. Cheyenne is curled up on the curtains that now will need to be washed again. They were on the shelf in the computer room and I foolishly let her in. She was yowling at the door ... and /she/ doesn't chew cords. This is like the third or fourth time she's wanted to come join me up here. I think maybe she might make a habit of it. And you know, it's fine that she's in here... except I'll have to rewash those curtains before using them.
Whenever that might be.
Did some work on Odyssey's server side. So far, I have this:
find data/ -name 'odyssey.*.tar.gz' -type f -mtime +30 -print0 |xargs -0 /bin/rm -f
I know this works manually, because I just tested it. Now to figure out how to set it to run automagically without breaking. I'm also wondering ... I don't recall getting an email this morning about a backup on the darn server. Somehow though, I think there should be one. How odd.
And I can now add to the list, SG1, Ep 18, "Forsaken." Crashed ship is found, aliens and humans in conflict. And both Sam and Jonas get hit on. Uh huh. Now that was an interesting little episode. Rather amusing in a lot of ways. I do like that alien ship - it was pretty.
Oh, did I mention that when I took my car in for its oil change, I ended up watching the unveiling at the dealership of the new Saturn Sky... even I have to admit that's a pretty car. ;) Starting at $35,000 or some such, but it's nice anyway. To look at. ;)
