SG1 update
May. 12th, 2006 08:24 pmPassed the halfway mark in SG1, Season 6. I watched episodes 11 and 12. Yes, 11 is a cliffhanger. "Prometheus." The X303 rises ... and gets stolen by the NID goofballs and Adrian Conrad, the goa'uld without a name. Getting lost in space is normally not something that comes highly recommended and this is no different.
Though it was nice to see Thor - just how Michael Shanks gets to do a cameo these days. Oh, and I gotta feel for that poor reporter!
And then "Unnatural Selection." Why do I get the feeling that's going to come back to bite SG1 one day? No, really. Stupid replicators. Of course, temporarily, there might be a respite from the darn bugs... or maybe even forever. I can't quite say for sure. But owwww - that was mean. Poor Fifth.

Oh my. Big bugs. Big glowing bugs. Ick.
At least there were no spiders. Flying bugs. Caterpillers. Icky enough. Especially when they're 3 feet long. Ick.
But the ep itself was funny. "Sight Unseen." SG1, S6, E13. Wht happens when SG1 brings back an Ancient artifact that allows them to see bugs from another dimension, and spreads the ability to see the critters via touch?
*laughs*
A cute ep to follow the depression of the last ep, I guess. Using the only replicator with any humanity at all's humanity against him ... And from this to glowy bugs that go through walls. Fun.
(Yeah yeah, what a way to spend a friday evening, I know... but hey, it was worth it!)
