Morning all!
Dec. 19th, 2005 09:10 amIt's a reasonably sunny day, I had a great weekend, and here I am, back at work.
In the news, yesterday was the family Christmas party. Got to see three of my younger type cousins on Dad's side of the family - Emily is 3, Alexandria is 11 months and Lucas is about.. uhm ... 3 weeks. ;) I think. Something like that anyway. Not very old. I got in trouble for not visiting more often too. Oops.
Guess I'll have to do something about that, huh?
The first package from my Brother arrived yesterday morning. Who knew that Amazon.ca does Sunday deliveries? I have to admit it really surprised me. It's kind of exciting too, in a way, even if the packages aren't for me. I managed to get another gift out - brought my Grandmother's with me and left it at her house for her.
In AQ news, I finished the Wizard class which was fun. And started the dracomancer class, just out of curiosity. Only got to level 1 dracomancer, so not much to say on that. The Wizard class divine magic ability had me giggling and it definitely caught Solara's attention. Which I'm sure is a huge shock to everyone.
In RP news, I got a Solara post up, though just a short one. Still, it's moved me a whole day forward in story time. :) And let's see. Viv is starting to get out and about again. She ran into Moreau in the lounge. Of course, the other scene I played involved Heightmeyer and Anderson, but we had to pause that scene due to my brain turning itself off and deciding it was bed time. No rp on RS yesterday. Hrm, guess I'll have to get my canon plot moving sometime soon. Though honestly, I'm thinking that can wait until ... uhm ... Boxing day. :)
In school news, we had a quick 601 conference call yesterday, so we're now moving on to our meeting today with our Faculty chair person. Hopefully all goes well and we have a company to work with, assuming that Larry (our faculty chair guy) approves it. You all may hear lots of comments on this, though no details. Sorry - can't give any details at all, due to nondisclosure requirements. But I can whine about other stuff and so you all can keep track. We have a mandatory lecture day on Jan 14 starting at 9am. On a Saturday. And we're trying to book a meeting for Jan. 4 for the group. Not hearing back from everyone yet though. Oh well, we can manage I'm sure.
And tonight - SGA! Yay!
