Okay, so I watched SG1, Season 3, Episode 16. "Urgo." Hrm, what happens when an inventor makes an error and life results? *snickers* Course I'm just as amused by the technologically advanced society afraid to step out of their house, so to speak. They still might get hit by lightning, ya know. ;)
And then there was episode 17. "One Hundred Days". What happens if Jack gets trapped on a planet with a few natives, including a beautiful single woman, and the stargate is gone... Yeah, that was cool, too. I expect it gives Jack a heck of a lot more sympathy for some of what Daniel Jackson has gone through. Oh, and it took Sam 3 months to get a sub atomic particle accelerator built. Interesting. I wonder if this qualifies as new or improved tech coming from the SGC program.
Now I have only 5 episodes to go to finish up season 3. I'm on the last DVD of the set. It's very tempting to continue to watch, especially since the pressure is dropping, the rain is coming, and I don't feel like doing much else. But I'm trying to be good. And tomorrow, a new SGA episode will be aired. I'm very much looking forward to that too. I'm also a little worried that later episodes of SGA might give me spoilers for SG1. Darn it. Oh well, I'll have to keep watching lots of SG1 eps to try to catch up.
