Oct. 9th, 2005 08:24 pmWhew.
Okay, let's see. Got ready to work this morning and realized - no sandpaper. Oops. Went out to get said sandpaper, and more painters tape. That worked fine. Also went to the service ontario kiosk to renew my car plates.
crookandchase was driving. Thus, I did not have my insurance policy number with me. *sighs* Gotta try that again tomorrow. Thankfully the kiosks are automatic, so I Might actually be able to get into one tomorrow. Picked up dinner rolls for tomorrow, since that's my contribution to the meal. My relatives either don't trust my cooking or are really really sweet to me. Or both.
In any event, Crookandchase and I managed to prime the entire room, window sill, trim, walls, doors and all. Before she had to head out for home. And I introduced her to Quizno's subs. Mwahahaha! And we dumped 2 bags of clothes, a lamp, a computer bag and another bag of stuff off at the Salvation Army. See, I am getting rid of stuff I don't use, honest.
So, rp this evening - fun on both RS and SGA. *grins*
And the plan for tomorrow? Well, get up, try to do some reading for Tuesday's class. Then I need to go check for any glaring spots we missed with the primer and cover them over. See where the primer is thin and touch it up. If there are any. If it's okay, then I might just have to open one of the cans of paint and start to it. Maybe do the window sill and the doors with that lovely offwhite, since that's a smaller job.
Oh, and I also did half a load of laundry today. And put the clothes away in my new bureau. *grins* It's absolutely gorgeous furniture, it really is. I think we managed to avoid getting any white paint on it. Now we have to manage not to turn it purple. :)
