Alrighty then
Aug. 10th, 2005 08:55 amI saw a license plate today: 2QT4ME.
Whatever works for you.
601 meeting went well. Our next one is Sept. 6 at 6pm, at school. We still didn't pick our 8th member though, being as how we're a little unsure about both folks who have suggested joining us. None of us know either one. We did definitely decide that we'll be starting officially in January, that we would like to finish it all as quickly as possible, and that Aug. 21, 2006 is the absolute final deadline for this project. Period. I like the folks we're working with - it's a good group. There's Kitty, David, Vivian, Derin, Christian, Hubert and me so far. With one more to go to make it a full group. We have one heck of a variety of backgrounds so it should be just fine.
In rp news - well, Viv was trying to recruit for Anderson, since he was ... ahem ... otherwise occupied. ;) I'm very amused at the number of A names on SG:A so far... Anderson, Aletheia, Adair, Andi... Heck, even Viv's last name starts with an A - Andori. And I'm sure I'm missing some. The A's get to take over the MU*. No question. Of course, this may make SGA2 on the game the A team. Just cause. It was Adair that Viv was trying to recruit, cause SGA2 needs a pilot who can fly a 'jumper.
Other than that scene (and I'd promised a scene with Viv to Teyla, so you know ... ) I was busy getting the recycling figured out. Everything that I decided to toss from the computer room just got dumped into the front porch storage container. So I had quite a bit of work to do just to dig out the recycle bins. And of course, both garbage and recycling had been dumped together, just to compound the issue. But I got rid of at least half the darn junk. The rest will go next recycling day, because there's only so much I can throw out at a time before the garbage collectors come down on my head or just refuse to take it.
And I suppose I should get back to work, right? Yeah, I should.
