The worst Valentine's Day of My Life...
Feb. 14th, 2005 09:57 pmLet's see.
It started yesterday with the migraine which I still have, by the way.
It continued with a stupid argument with my fiance, because we were both feeling horrible, and of course, he's not online tonight for me to talk to. Go figure. Well, perhaps he will get here later. I left class early, after all.
Then my printer says it needs a new cartridge. Which reminds me,
akesteven, where the heck do I get one of those?
Today I discovered I can't find my stapler, so on my way to class to hand in the assignment, with the flipping migraine, I stop at the local drugstore to pick up a new stapler. AT least I'll know where that one is. It's raining, foggy, and generally bleah. I did pick up the stapler, and I did manage to hand in the assignment, so that's one good thing. At least the day wasn't a total waste.
Got out of the drug store, back to my car, turned on the engine, turned on the full headlighting system, turned on the defrost and the wipers. Looked in my mirrors and noted that there was nobody moving. AT all. So I proceeded to back out of my spot. And then noticed that a previously immobile minivan was now mobile. Backwards. Towards my car. Honked my horn, but alas, to no avail. She hit me. Apparently it's difficult to see small cars through the rearview of minivans. That's something that manufacturers should fix. Especially red cars. With their FULL LIGHTING SYSTEM ON. You'd think that would be relatively simple to see. Anyway, she hit the passenger side, back door of the car, and at the very least it will need paint on the door and the frame around the door. Not sure if there's more to it, but I don't have time to go get estimates until Saturday. I had other plans for saturday, but that's fine. I should be able to take a couple hours out of the day for that.
I'm starting to think I really am jinxed.
