White Christmas
Dec. 25th, 2004 11:22 pmGood time had by all, in the family. Well, in the party crew that I was hanging out with. Hopefully you all had just as much fun.
It was nice to come out to the dark sky, white ground, and just a sprinkle of snow on the air. Of course, I think I'm even happier that Mom was driving her SUV, cause it's got better traction. It's interesting though, it rides much higher up than in my Saturn. In fact, I can safely say that the view in the Highlander is really quite something. I had an extraordinary feeling of being just a little too high as we came up one of the onramps to a highway, one of the high up ones that lets you drive in the air above other highways. It felt like I was going to fall off.
And for the record, I had absolutely zero alcohol today.
Was much fun. My littlest cousin Katrina has grown quite a bit, and she even gave me a kiss. And it seems my gifts were reasonably well accepted. Yahoo! It's always good to give things that people are glad to receive.
Anyway, hope you all are having a great time, wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
Me, I'm going to enjoy a bit of quiet time, because there's one more day of party tomorrow. And then ... I'm hoping there is Circus on the 27th. I know there's the ballet on the 28th. *grins* And sleep on the 29, 30, in preparation for a fun New Years Eve.
Oh, and talking about games for New Years ... how about Lord of the Rings Risk?
