Okay, so I get home from class yesterday ... It's 11pm or so. I put the recycling out, and then I realize I'm one cat short. Turns out poor Apache had been locked in my room all day. Oops?
She was very glad to get out.
There was a shredded plastic bag in the hall too - I guess Tal was not impressed that she got to stay in my room and he was locked out. ;)
She was really happy to get out though.
Then there was this morning. I woke up, got myself moving. I was early. It was great, I was going to have time to stop at Tim Horton's and get coffee even. Got through the morning routine, got out of the house, locked the door, turned around and blinked.
Garbage Day.
There's the recycling sitting out at the curb, but no garbage.
Oops.
Waited for the alarm to stop beeping, and then back in I went. Hit the keypad and one of the numbers stuck. (Yes, Akesteven and Valwoo! That number!) I'd heard from several others that it sticks, but this was the first time it happened to me. I didn't realize it at first, and so I had to call the alarm company to tell them it was a false alarm. Let me tell you, that darn siren is really obnoxiously loud. Anyway, half an hour later I was putting the garbage out.
Needless to say, I did not make it to work early. *sighs*
But dinner should be quite nice this evening - that's good.
