I like having a vacation about now. It's nice to relax at home alone for a bit - just me and the cats. I'm finally getting to my Christmas cards. Yes, they are late, but they're going to get out there eventually. Believe it or not.

I'm currently taking a break, and contemplating a Solara update or Civ3. Both are calling my name - Oh, the decisions...

I had a wonderful Christmas with lots of fun and laughter with family. There's only one way it could have been better, and perhaps next year it will be.

As it stands, I'm reasonably content.

So, I do hope everyone had a good time.

As for RP, well, *grins* I'm hoping to get some of that in there too. Course, I figure most folks aren't available at the moment, so I'm not too worried about it. Perhaps this evening, if I don't get sucked into Civ3...

Well, maybe not.

Christmas cards are done, except I need more stamps, and I need to get info from Mom on bunches of family type people. This can be managed.

And I want to make a couple of phone calls today ... *grins*

I did update my campaign notes for Solara, with some more stuff that happened while Sol wasn't there. That stuff I'm not posting to heroestales. I figure those who were there need to post that. And I'm sure they will, eventually. ;)

Anyway, I'm working on the next Sol post, ever so slowly. Patience is a virtue.

As for Christmas ... well, I got a new futon, and new dragons, towels, some carpentry stuff (nails, nuts, bolts, picture hanging stuff), new pjs - *grins* They're purple, and I wonder if they will make folks twitch when they see them... guess we'll find out - some Jasmine body lotion, a new bamboo serving bowl, some cool champagne flutes (yes we are set for New Years Eve, why do you ask?), and a bath caddy that includes a spot for a wine glass and a candle. You know, that's just a nice treat.

Oh, and Dad gave me some deer and moose meat ... *beams* Hey, it wasn't exactly a Christmas gift, but I'm happy about it. I get a little more revenge on that silly deer that jumped on my Cavalier way back when.
