Destressing
Dec. 2nd, 2003 12:23 amBut I thought I'd moan and complain while I have the chance.
So, nightclass tonight. Not a problem. I come out to a snow squall. Still not a problem. Start driving home, pass an accident or two - the roads are pretty darn slippery, actually. I was impressed. Oh, and the wind gusts were evil. Just for the record.
Right. So, I put on the traffic report, and hear that there's volume by Westney because one lane is blocked. No biggie, I get off at Harwood. So, still no problem.
Until I get there. Westney's ramp is completely closed. There might have been a sign in the collectors, but there was no sign in the express. I was driving in the express. Still, I get off at Harwood, so this is still not a problem.
Except that the ramp at Harwood was, yes, you guessed it, CLOSED too.
I had to drive to the next town over and backtrack to get to my home. I am not a happy driver right now. Bad enough I hate driving but that was just evil. I should figure out who was responsible and complain. I mean, they could have at least opened Salem Rd, for pete's sake!
Sheesh.
P.S. I wonder when the song I'm listening to now will show up for a Solara post. ;)
