RRRRIIINNNNNGGGGG
So the phone rings this morning at about 9am. This shouldn't be a problem, though it did worry me somewhat. Most people don't call before 10, unless it's an emergency. Or they're my friend DK, but she usually calls late at night, as opposed to early in the morning.
Anyway, I'm curled up in my nice warm covers, over on the bookshelf side of the bed. I look up - the portable station is there. But the portable is not on it. I try to move as the phone rings a second time.
But there's a problem. I'm all tangled in the covers, and Taliesin has decided to snuggle up in the curve of my legs, so that he's right behind my knees, and on top of the tangled covers.
The phone rings a third time, and cuts off halfway through. Oh, the answering machine got it, I think.

But you know, I'm still amused at how tangled up I'd managed to get. I wouldn't have thought it was physically possible.
