Rain, fog, clouds
Jul. 11th, 2003 10:47 amIt was dark out this morning when I woke up. Made it more difficult than usual to get out of bed. But I managed, with help from the bratcat. He's somewhat insistent about his food, you see, and morning is food time. Go figure.
Head was all bleary, which I attributed to the fog. Made sense to me. Got ready for work, headed out, and you know - I got soaked. Just going from house to car. Because it was raining - not cats and dogs - but more like elephants and whales. Wow. Fog, black sky, and rain that hard. I almost turned around and went back to bed when I realized I couldn't see the cars in front of me on the road at a decent distance.
But well, I had stuff that needs doing today. So here I am at work, plucking away at it all. Wishing I was home in bed.
I've been giving thoughts to story telling of late. I expect that more detailed philosophizing and thinking on the topic will follow. Right now, I'm more just beginning to consider it. How does one choose the story? That's the first question I'm looking at, especially since I've never really done story telling for large audiences. (And the one time I tried, I completely forgot what I wanted to say and ended up having to adlib.)
Last night I was asleep by 10pm. No rp. Some chatting, but not a heck of a lot. Hopefully tonight will be better.
Oh, and I've loaned my coworker The Trial of Lancelot for the weekend so he can listen to more of Heather Dale. So, not only have I hooked
myrynvalona but I might hook someone at work too. *beams*
