I've already got homework! I haven't even started my first class yet, and already I've got homework.

"The reading that is being assigned for that topic is a
book by Thomas Friedman entitled The Lexus and the Olive Tree (2000, Harper
Collins). Copies of the book will be available for you to purchase in the
bookstore in September but if you would like to get a head start and do
some pre-reading over the summer you might want to get a copy at your local
book store. Part 1 will be assigned but the teaching team for the course
recommends reading as much as you can so you will have a solid
understanding of the new context of business and some of the implications
of that for leadership in these complex and uncertain times."
