Planes are neat to see. It's interesting to be standing in a cargo carrying 727 that's not yet been loaded and get to see the rollers on the floor and the really obnoxiously hot cockpit.
It somehow makes the information systems that I work on feel so much more real when I can see the practical use for them. And yesterday we went to the Air Hub, to see how this part of the business operates. It was fascinating. Not mind boggling, mind, but the sort of thing that appeals to me. I guess in a lot of ways we all have some interest in piloting flying machines. Or at least in the pilots.
