movies ... and quiet days

Yay!
And last night I had some awesome rp with some really excellent players. On Heroes and Two Moons, both at the same time. Kind of ruins me for less, at least for a while.
Puppy sitting a relative's four month old ( I think) puppy named Lexus. She's cute, really cute. It's enough to make me want my very own puppy... almost. I guess I'll just borrow Lexus every once in a while. I get a chance to puppy sit her again next week, and that would be cool.
I like her. She's soft and cuddly and all long legs. She's a German hunting dog, I think, and she'll grow to be about 60 lbs. I can't remember the breed, but might look it up on the web, just to see if I can find it.
Weimaraner Puppies!
Apache and Cheyenne were quite afronted to have the little munchkin in their house. It was funny to watch them all circle around each other.
Today ... well, we celebrated my Mom's birthday. Went over and spent the day with Mom. Dad is deer hunting ... without his car. Smart man. I hope he gets one, cause I want some venison, even if I did get my car back.
We watched "Miss Congeniality" and "Cats and Dogs" cause Mom wanted to see "Miss Congeniality" (I'd already seen it) and I wanted to see "Cats and Dogs". Can I just say that even though I'm a cat person, I was rooting for that puppy...
believe it or not.
*grins* Okay, like it's difficult to believe. He was cute and innocent, and that white Persian thing wasn't a cat. It was a demon in disguise, I'm positive.
Anyway, back home after eating moose at dinner. Yum. And chocolate cake with ice wine for dessert. *beams*
