but I'm not sure at the moment.

It's 1:07pm right now. I've mowed the lawn, ready 3 chapters of "Eye of the World" by Robert Jordan, programmed a garage door opener, and now I'm munching on a snack, starting to get into rp and listening to my random playlist.

Friday night was okay. A little rp. Stirred up some trouble on B5:RS which is always fun. And then Saturday. Let's see. Where to start...

Woke up about 8:45am. Yes, on a Saturday. Ariel was already awake, poor her. Showered, got dressed in my purple wrap pants, white linen pirate shirt, and bright red sash. We headed out and stopped at the jewellery store so that Ariel could get her repaired chain back. Then to the train station, parked the car and went to buy tickets. We learned we could buy tickets for the Ex (CNE) at the Go Train station, so that was nice. Cut down on line ups, if nothing else. The ticket selling lady said if we hurried, we might make the next train, so we took off running. Down the stairs. Along the tunnel. I turned to my left, where the escalators are, and was on the third step before I realized they were set to go downhill, stead of up. Oops. "THey're going down!" I cried in dismay. Ariel was already laughing by this point, but we turned and headed for the stairs at the other side. Ran up them. By this point, both my shoelaces had come undone, and I couldn't stop laughing. Stopped at the top of the stairs, once we saw there was no train, to do up my shoelaces. About 3 minutes later, the train came. We didn't have to run at all. Though of course, that just set the tone for the day quite nicely. Giggly laughter.

The train was pretty empty when we got on, but well before we reached the Exhibition stop, it was packed. That was okay. We got there at about 11am, and went to the food building for lunch. Yes, it was early, but we missed the crowds and got to sit down and eat. Yum. There's food from everywhere in there. Chains and little mom & pop deals all together in one building. I saw Italian, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Greek, pizza, burgers, donuts, ice cream, perogies, and the list goes on and on. Yummy. But not very good for anyone's waistline.

We then headed off, wandering through the midway, and found the arts and crafts building. We wandered through that, with a brief stop by some wood carvings. And a hop skip and a jump through the Kiddie Science building. That was kinda neat. We then heard the air show start up, so we wandered thataway. Sat and enjoyed the air show. I'd never seen one before. It was cool - I'd never seen our Snowbirds before. That's quite a trip, let me tell you. I won me a dragon at one of the games in the midway. Got lucky enough to win enough small prizes to be able to trade up. Okay, I bought the darn thing, but hey ... spent part of the rest of the day trying to figure out what to name him. He's blue, with a yellow belly, yellow ears, yellow tips to his red wings, red horns, a red tip to his tail, and red talons. cute.

We wandered back through the midway and then through the garden show, the International pavilion and the home show. I got to drool over the whirlpool/hot tubs with the lovely wooden pavillions around them. Oh, if I only had $10 000 to spare ... *sigh*

Sometime during this all, Ariel saw the insect museum exhibit, a trailer front, with the whole back of it shaped like a giant caterpillar. "Oh, that's gross," she said, totally disgusted. Mind you, the funniest thing is that I knew exactly what she was talking about, even though I'd been discussing cotton candy just moments before.

We bought some really cool suncatchers too ... a cat one, a dragon one, and a hummingbird one. So they'll be going up on the windows relatively shortly.

Anyway, after that, we went to Medieval times. Oh, that was good fun. stuffed with food that was greasy, but tasty. Maybe not exactly medieval, but close enough to pass. The show was excellent. Okay, yes, I'm biased, cause our knight threw me a flower after he won one of the competitions. He was the black and white knight. And then he won the Battle Royale, becoming the King's Champion. And of course he had to win against the evil black knight (played by the red and yellow knight, who was actually one of the cuter fellows. I was disappointed when he got killed and left the scene. Darn. And of course the black knight wore a mask, so we couldn't see his face. With glowing red eyes, no less.) After that, we stopped for ice cream on the way to the go train. Had to wait for 45 minutes for the next train. Spent the time chatting with a family of two young girls and their parents. It was good.

Picture Winnie the Poo, Tigger, Rabbit, and Ms. Piggy ...

Isn't that just a horrible thought?

Ariel started it. She suggested that she only knows two muppets ... Kermit and Ms. Piglet. Well, if she's going to steal Piglet, then Ms. Piggy should be in Poo world, right?

BTW, can any of you name any other muppets?

Got home, logged on, and actually did a bit of rp. Though not too much, cause I faded out relatively quickly.

But it was a fun relaxing day. I enjoyed myself thoroughly.
