Fun in the SCA
May. 9th, 2001 08:39 amI love event demos. Really. 150 exuberant kids, most of whom don't really care. We taught them the Maltese Bransle in 4 groups. Half an hour each group. Parents, cousins, siblings, and teachers included. Then answered questions and had lots of fun.
Reminded me why I like the SCA ... because it's fun! And because there's a light that shines in people when they let go their cares and just be for a while.
Got home at almost midnight to two messages on the answering machine. One from my Mother. One from the first company I interviewed with. They want a second interview. Talk about your detailed hiring process...
I have to call them back. No news yet on any of those reference things. Bah. Will have to call this morning, and maybe catch some folk at their desks.
