Happy Belated Easter
Apr. 16th, 2001 12:48 pmSo let's see ... third coat of green paint on the trim, and suddenly, it's looking very beautifully green. Awesome! I've removed the tape from around the trim, and had to do some touchups. Darn painter's tape pulls off some of the paint too, if you're not really super careful. Ah well, that's one lesson learned. I've also started repriming over the paint splotches on the walls. This means that I'll be able to pinkify the walls probably tomorrow ... or maybe wednesday. I still have to tape the trim so that it doesn't end up pink instead of green.
Went to Mom and Dad's for Easter. It was our usual small affair for 16 people. Lots of food: turkey, ham, pineapple sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, yams, parsnips, squash, broccoli, beets, stuffing, pickles, cucumbers, cake, ice wine ... yum. And it's always good to see my cousins. Adam, the three year old, wanted to know why Mom's cat, Merlin, has claws. (Mostly cause his cat Angel doesn't have claws.) And he found a dead bird in the backyard that he insisted the dog (Magic) must have killed. *gringiggle* He's a cutie, and really sociable. Lauren is just two, and she's babbling up a storm. Can't understand most of what she says, and she's mischief incarnate, but she's some cute. Takes right after her mom that's for sure.
Oh, and for those who care, Anselon had a baby boy, Anton, 8 lbs 9 ozs on Monday, April 9, 2001.
Ended up in a fun conversation with Mom, Dad, Ariel, and my friend Grant. Was good fun.
And so on to today ...
