Depends entirely on the Sedai. However, from Elyse's perspective - she wouldn't get Tam in real trouble over that, if Donovan intervened. Specially not after what she already noticed, ICly. If it were Jaenna, Reshna ... you know, Tam might not end up in trouble either. Aiyanna ... probably Tam's in trouble, just cause. That white Muirghen - Tam's toast. *grins*
Now, what this means from my perspective is this... If the Sedai who witnesses the argument gives Tam a punishment, Elyse will not likely change it, unless it's really out of proportion. Fact is - Tam would be breaking a rule. But, if the Sedai asks Elyse to punish Tam, then she will get punished, but if Donovan puts in his 2 cents, Elyse will listen to him. So, she wouldn't be toast. Elyse might make a caustic comment to Donovan about picking his locations better, though. ;)
