I've been thinking about this effort I started with Donovan last night to force Tamlyn to grow a backbone... And, I'm thinking an argument between them would catch her attention - at least enough to make her think. Now, frankly, the argument will pretty much have to have taken place in a public area, since men simply aren't allowed in Accepted Residences. Even in the Accepted Residence hallway, if Tam argues with Donovan, it will be noticed. There's bound to be at least one Sedai or another pass by... and it's almost certain they'd feel complelled to see her reprimanded, perhaps even punished, for being disrespectful to a Gaidin. Donovan, on the other hand, wouldn't be seeing it as disrespectful - since he'd be purposely trying to get her angry enough to react. He'd actually want her to argue with him. Therefore, I want to know: If he intervenes with the Sedai (and then maybe drops a note to Elyse afterwards explaining the situation) would it be enough to keep her out of real trouble? Or would she be toast, anyway?
