Okay, maybe still an old card, but ...
NVidia GeForce 2 ... MX400. Is that better? It works in my pc, anyway. And it was a really good price.

And I now have cordless mouse and keyboard working.

I doubt it'll be able to run Doom3, but then again, from all reports Doom3 crawls on a GeForce 4 TI 4600. I expect that should be fine for most decent games out there now.

Which cordless kb/mouse did you get? The Logitech Elite Duo?
