On Grad School

Sent in my acceptance. And I got invited to a summer barbecue held by the department. I find that distinctly odd.

I think I should go, just to see what it's all about.

that they are trying to be friendly - it sounds like a 'meet and greet' thing.

You could at least take a look around the campus - it's ugly, but they've been working on it.

Yeah, it's prolly a new student 'greet and meet' thing. It'll be nice. Go have fun. It helps to know people before you start. Even Seminary had one for me.
